Community Engagement

Even before Weill Cornell Medicine received the grant to start PEACE work in earnest, the team has spent countless hours on the ground (and over Zoom!) developing relationships with local NEPA partners and interested parties state- and nation-wide. This engagement includes:  

  • Learning the landscape of older adult services already in place
  • Gauging the level of interest and need for services in each county
  • Consulting local service leaders on how to smoothly integrate our programs into the existing care landscape
  • Discussing opportunities to ensure program sustainability with local funders
