Dr. Charles P. Mouton serves The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB) as Executive Vice President, Provost, and Dean of the John Sealy School of Medicine, and he is a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Mouton served UTMB as President ad interim from September 2022 to August 2023. Prior to becoming EVP, Provost, and Dean, he was Vice Dean for Academic Affairs in the medical school.
