Ian B. Kwok M.D.

Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine

Ian B. Kwok, M.D., is a palliative care physician interested in improving clinical communication and team models to bridge communities and health systems, especially by integrating complementary psychological modalities (such as creative arts therapies). Dr. Kwok is a graduate of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He completed internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and hospice and palliative medicine fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. In the Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, Dr. Kwok provides palliative care home visits and inpatient care as an attending physician on the Inpatient Palliative Care Consultation Service. He also serves as Director of Community Outreach and Education and Director of the Palliative Care House Call Program.
