The Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine is dedicated to improving the health of its local and global communities. Close partnership with community organizations, non-profit groups, and governments are essential for effective advocacy on behalf of our patients, families, and caregivers.

Community Outreach and Education

The Community Outreach and Education initiative was launched by the Weill Cornell Medicine Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine in 2021 to manage and develop impactful communication channels across our patient, caregiver, clinician, and researcher communities.

Our team of communication experts specialize in translating complex medical information into language that is meaningful and understandable to everyone. We support clinicians and scientists in sharing their research with the broader community to make their discoveries accessible to the public on the internet and social media.
